The sap is rising and the buds are bursting for some varieties. Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc and Merlot are shown here. The grass is also growing but the ground is too soft with all the rain that has fallen for a tractor and slasher to venture onto the vinerows. Fortunately, the ground was firm enough to replace some end posts.
