Wines of the West for 2017 was a very well run event in the very Edwardian atmosphere of the Carrington Hotel. The front verandah, where you can soak up the sun at breakfast while being watched by the lady with the lamp, and the Billiard Room showing an amazing video of the snow covered Carrington grounds, gives a taste of the interiors.
It was a hot weekend with early afternoon downpours. A busy Saturday followed by a quieter Sunday. Staying at the Carrington is a pleasure thanks to the friendly staff, the lovely breakfasts and the interior décor.
