Having obtained planning approval for some modifications to the Cellar Door, work has commenced on clearing sightlines for the vehicular entry and excavation for the additional building works including a wine storage area. Over on the northern side of our future cellar door there was more tidying up, weeding, pruning of the bay tree and rosemary bush, mulching the soil, planting herbs (parsley,sage, mint, oregano, basil, chives, etc.) topped off with cypress wood chips.
