Magnificent Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoos

Some loud squawking announced the arrival of two Yellow-Tailed Black Cockatoos attracted by the seeds of a shrub in the garden. The seeds were picked and cracked with much noise providing a good feed before these beautiful birds flew off revealing their striking yellow tail feathers.

Also parrots were around, no doubt getting ready to sample some grapes soon.

Down at the dam a couple Australian White Ibis were wading around with the ducks keeping an eye on proceedings.
