After some ominous signs, the weather turned out to be kind as the rain held off and Sunday especially was a wonderful sunny afternoon. Robertson Park is a lovely secluded space looking west up the harbour to the towers of the Sydney CBD. The white tent topped stalls were arranged in a large circle and contrasted with green park grass. A lively mix of wine tasters traded their vouchers for tastes of wine – our 2013 Shiraz, the 2013 Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, and the ’08 Cabernet Sauvignon and ’09 Cabernet Franc were all very popular and enjoyed, along with quite some interest in the botrytised Sauvignon Blanc ‘sticky’.
